I am a member of the Piasa Bluffs Writing Project, a local division of the National Writing Project. I am also a member of the Cultural Landscapes Collaboratory. After completion of the Invitational Summer Institute in July 2010, I became a Fellow of the PBWP, and continue to participate in professional development activities through the organization. In January 2011, I presented at the Design Thinking & New Literacies Conference, and I continue to explore new ways to develop professionally as an educator through the opportunities that offered as a member of the PBWP.
